New Freezer Building
Facing increased costs for offsite, third-party storage, Del Monte worked closely with our team to identify several options for creation of a new freezer facility at their manufacturing plant. Areas of cost savings were identified and analyzed. As a result of the initial study, we were retained to provide comprehensive design/build services for a new 22,000 sq. ft. freezer building. The primary space within the building is conditioned to +15F while the truck docks and vestibule are at +35F.
Drastically reduced costs and streamlined distribution have had a major impact on how they operate at this location. In fact, this facility realized a payback of just 18 months.
