Provided comprehensive civil engineering and geo-technical design services for a 59,000 sq. ft. addition, including layout and grading of parking facilities and access drives, site location of temporary classrooms, and relocation of the basketball and tennis courts. Additional services included extensive site work, including stormwater quantity control facilities, floodplain analysis, permitting, and erosion and sediment control.
Additions also required the development of new faculty and student parking lots, underground infiltration chambers, a PennDot highway occupancy permit for a new driveway entrance, a box culvert stream crossing, and masterplanning for expanded athletic fields on the adjoining middle school and Horn Field properties.
Provided surveying, aerial mapping, subdivision, geo-technical, and formal land development planning preparation services for a new 112,000 sq. ft. elementary school. With no existing utilities on site, we designed over 4,000 linear ft. of public water, sewer, electric, gas, and telephone extensions to connect the rural site with surrounding neighborhood utility systems.
Formal land development plans also included the development of two (2) youth soccer fields and a little league baseball field, outdoor play areas and a paved basketball court. Site access also included the design of two (2) approach driveways/streets, each exceeding 1,200 linear ft. in length.
Nutec developed formal land development plans for two (2) maintenance building site options. Site option for a new maintenance building facility included truck maneuvering areas, parking lots, a stormwater management basin and erosion and sentiment controls to support a 14,000+/- sq. ft. maintenance /warehouse building structure. Site option involving the purchase of an existing building structure involved the preparation of a site plan supporting new parking and truck access facilities and preparation of legal access and drainage cross easements.
